I find pure joy in capturing special moments in time, and possibly, sharing these wonderful experiences through the art of photography.
After my children were off to college, and retired early from my previous life as a chemist,
I enrolled in photography classes at C.O.D in 2009. Beginning with 35mm black and white and color images, quickly transitioning into digital images and digital design. I became passionate about photography.
Exhibiting my work, competing for awards, as well as, selling work for others to enjoy in their homes, is very gratifying. Teaching classes and judging are other outlets of sharing my enthusiasm for the art of photography.
Photography allows me to see the world around me with a more detailed eye, enhancing my life in so many ways. I know photographing will be an important endeavor for years to come.
My inspiration varies as my journey changes. Traveling to many different countries allows me to experience meeting many different people and cultures. I also enjoy landscape, abstract images, and digital design.
I have enjoyed photography for almost 20 years, learning more every year. I am the co-founder of the fotoMuses and continue to exhibit with this wonderful group of talented, women photographers.
I also exhibit with the Bloomingdale Artist’s Association, a gifted group of artists.
