This is the statement on the front jacket of

Aichen's Water Lilies book:

“When a subject attracts my attention, I spend

time to observe, feel and absorb until it becomes

part of me. As I photograph and print the image,

I put myself back to the image, so it becomes

mine. Then I hope my viewers would share my

view and feeling when they see my work.”
