JOAN LADENDORF

 I enjoy exploring the realms of digital photography and Photoshop to create unique pictorial and abstract compositions.  A collector at heart, I capture images that add details, landscapes, patterns, textures and colors to my toolbox, for use as stand-alone images, as layers, or as ingredients in composite work.  I also create re-purposed and hand-altered papers that I scan and incorporate into my photo collages along with the photographed textures.  With the computer mouse, I draw the shapes or choose the parts of the images to extract for my compositions.  I chose mostly "real photography" for my gallery, but a couple of photo collage examples are included.  For many more collage creations, please click on the link below for my website.
